Recycle Your Cycle

Bicycle Recycling

Old Dominion University is now accepting student bicycle donations year-round! Please consider donating your bicycle if you don't want to ship or store it. The bicycle will be used to support bicycle programs on campus.

You can either recycle your cycle at the University Recycling Center (865 W. 39th Street), or donate your unwanted bike to the Student Recreation Center's Bike Sharing program, Bike ODU.

To donate to Bike ODU, bring your bike to the Outdoor Adventures Center (4700 Powhatan Avenue) anytime throughout the year. At the end of spring semester, during Student Move-Out, another drop-off location on campus will be also be made available.

Bicycles left on campus during the summer months will be considered abandoned. These bicycles will be collected and donated to charity or recycled.
